1. Who we are
Amendi (the website amendi.app and the Amendi iPhone application) is operated by Author Time OÜ, registry code 16123590, Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, 10115 Tallinn, Estonia ("Amendi", "we"). Contact: [email protected]. By using the website or the app you agree to these terms.
2. What Amendi is — and is not
Amendi is a self-guided wellness program based on published relationship research. It provides educational content and daily behavioral suggestions. Amendi is not therapy, counseling, medical or psychological treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional help. No outcome is promised or guaranteed. If you are experiencing abuse or fear your partner, stop using the program and seek real-time human support (see our support resources).
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Amendi.
4. Your account
The app works with an anonymous account by default; you may link it via Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for the device and credentials you use. You can delete your account and data at any time in the app or by emailing us.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Parts of the app require a paid subscription (monthly or yearly), purchased through Apple's App Store and charged to your Apple account. Where offered, a free trial converts into a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store settings (Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions). Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may change for future billing periods with notice. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's terms; EU customers' statutory rights remain unaffected.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no reverse engineering, scraping, reselling of content, or use of the service to harm, harass, monitor, or control another person. Amendi is built for improving your own behavior in a relationship — never for surveillance of a partner.
7. Content and intellectual property
All content in the app and on the website — missions, articles, program structures, text, and design — belongs to Author Time OÜ or its licensors and is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Referenced research belongs to its respective authors; Amendi is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any research institute cited.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under mandatory EU consumer rules.
9. Termination
You may stop using Amendi at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections 7–11 survive termination.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email with reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
